Access from the exterior
By train:
RER C -> If you wish to take the RER C to get to the Château of Versailles, all you need do is get off at the Versailles Rives Gauche / Chantiers stop. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk.
TRAIN SNCF -> To Versailles, there are 2 stations:
- Versailles Chantiers / Rive Gauche for trains from Paris Montparnasse (10 minute walk)
- Versailles Rive Droite for trains from Paris Saint Lazare (20 minute walk)

By tourist or public transport coach:
VERSAILLES EXPRESS -> From Paris (Eiffel Tower), Versailles Express will take you to the Château of Versailles with 2 departures per day: 08.00 and 14.00.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT -> The Phébus public transport network will take you everywhere within the town of Versailles.

By car:
The easiest route is from the A 13 motorway, exit Versailles Centre.
There is paid parking throughout the town of Versailles.
